10 questions to ask your provider about peptide therapy

PeptideVisit care team · [MEDICAL/CLINICAL REVIEWER – JOHN TO CONFIRM]

Going into a visit with questions helps you understand your options and make a decision that's right for you. Consider asking:

  1. Based on my history, is peptide therapy appropriate for me? Why or why not?
  2. Which medication are you recommending, and what is it meant to do?
  3. What does the evidence say about it, and where is it still limited?
  4. What side effects should I watch for, and what should I do if they happen?
  5. Does it interact with any medications or supplements I take?
  6. Is this a brand-name or compounded medication, and what's the difference for me?
  7. Which pharmacy will fill it, and how is quality checked?
  8. How will we measure progress, and how often will we follow up?
  9. What is the total monthly cost, and what does it include?
  10. How do I stop treatment if I want to?

A good provider will welcome these questions. If something isn't clear, ask again.
